NFL Week 1 Reminder

How about ECU?  Maybe not as big as the Michigan upset from last year…but how about Utah???  OK so fun College Football Weekend all around and I will discuss it later this week.  But welcome to NFL Week 1!!!  I hope every ones fantasy football teams are shaping up.  I also hope that everyone in New Orleans is safe from Hurricane Gustav!

So a month ago I picked the games for Week 1.  Here are those picks and the prices of seats that are still available.  There are some good deals out there and early regular season games typically go for less then mid to late season games.

1. Redskins at Giants - Redskins 28 -14.  Seats available from $120 to $801 for Thursdays Opening Night.
2. Bears at Colts - Colts 38 - Bears 10. $71.25 to about $2500.  Stadium Opener here, should be a great Sunday Night game!
3. Cowboys at Browns - Cowboys 35 - Browns 21. $120 to $685.  Time to see if the Browns can take the next step up into becoming a playoff team!
4. Vikings at Packers -  Vikings 17 - Packers 13. $75 to $850.  Aaron Rogers opens the season on Monday Night, I am sticking with my pick from four weeks ago and think this will be a defensive battle.
5. Bucs at Saints - Saints 41 - Bucs 18. $39 to $2130.  Everyone is hopeful that the Saints can open up at home in spite of Hurricane Gustav, I am too!
6. Cardinals at 49ers - 49ers 27 - Cardinals 20.  $28 to $1000.  Should be an interesting game with some great deals on seats!
7. Seahawks at Bills - Bills 20 - Seahawks 13. $49 to $1161.  I think the Bills will shock some people here at home, even though the Seahawks have a solid team.
8. Chiefs at Patriots - Pats 28 - Chiefs 24.  $69 to $2035.  I am betting Tom Brady plays and lights it up although I think the Chiefs will keep pace.
9. Broncos at Raiders - Broncos 21 - Raiders 10.  $39 to $2131.  Second Monday Night game and you get to see two major SEC players in McFadden and Russel.
10. Texans at Steelers - Steelers 30 - Texans 17.  $75 to $2344.  Still my deal of the week for Steeler Home Game Tickets.
